For businesses and organisations:

I design and deliver commissioned exercise programmes tailored to the group I'm working with. For example, a six-week back care course developed for Tameside Carers Centre, supporting carers with the physical toll of their role. I can work with charities and community organisations to develop something that will help their service users. For corporate clients, I can offer half day training for staff with my ‘Back at Work' programme, developed to help employers reduce sick days from back pain and to help employees become happier and healthier. I can also deliver more bespoke courses, as required.

For individuals:

Having spent several years doing one-to-one personal training, in early 2026 I gave it up to instead focus on group classes and online health programmes. I run classes in local settings, such as back care and movement, Stronger Over 50, and Keep Fit. Back care classes focus on practical, sustainable ways to move well, manage pain, and stay independent. Through Live Fitter Coaching, I also work specifically with women navigating the bone health changes that come with perimenopause and menopause, removing the confusion and fear-mongering to give clear, evidence-based guidance on building and protecting bone density.

ABOUT ANDREA

I'm Andrea Wren, founder of Live Fitter Coaching and a Level 3 & Level 4 qualified personal trainer, with specialisms in Exercise Referral and Low Back Pain Management.

My path here wasn't a straight line. I spent years as a freelance journalist, often covering health and nutrition, before working in the funeral industry and then retraining as a personal trainer. Because I used to suffer back pain, and I also had an osteopenia diagnosis in September 2022, both of which I have now fully reversed, here lies my passion in the health field.

Whether you're here for yourself or exploring a programme for your team, members, or clients, I'd love to hear from you.
